Over time the leather develops a look of its own, while the apron keeps its shape and other qualities. All you need to clean it is water and a soft cloth. For dirt, simply wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Stubborn stains can be removed with professional leather care products. If the apron gets very wet, let it dry in the air or on a hanger at room temperature. To bring back shine and suppleness, use wax or a leather care product.
