Our leather is made directly in our family-run workshop in the heart of old Galicia, in Ukraine. We are glad to share our passion for leather under the Austrian brand Mergel, in the home of our ancestors, who lived in Vienna and bore the name Mergel. A modern, efficient production line gives us a completely closed cycle of leather making, from raw material to finished leather, with every step done in-house. Our monthly output of finished leather is around 60,000 m². The mission of our tannery is to make leather of the highest quality and to keep contributing to environmentally friendly production.
