Where the key lands: giving the little things at home their place
Keys off, phone out of the pocket, coat on the hook. The evening doesn’t start on the sofa. It starts at the door. And right now, when it gets dark early and it’s good to come home, you notice how much those first few minutes matter.
What you hear in those moments says a lot about a home. A bunch of keys on a marble top clatters. On leather, it lands quietly.
Why every home needs a landing spot
Most of the things we look for every day aren’t lost. They’re just somewhere different each time: the keys on the chest of drawers, the glasses by the bed, the post somewhere on the kitchen table. You don’t need an elaborate system to fix that, just a fixed place in the right spot. That is exactly what our new leather trays and the SAIL wall pocket are for.
In the hallway: everything that comes out of your pockets

It’s the same every evening: wallet, phone, keys and the change from the shops all need to go somewhere. The REEF leather tray catches the lot, on a surface of woven leather strips you’ll want to touch. Its slightly raised edges keep everything together.
In the large size, at 29 × 29 cm, it sits well on a hallway chest of drawers. In the morning you can see at a glance that everything is there.
On the wall: post that doesn’t belong on the pile

Not everything that comes into the house belongs in a drawer. The card someone actually wrote by hand. The magazine you really do want to read. The invitation for Saturday, so that you can find it on Saturday.
The SAIL leather wall pocket hangs on the wall like a large envelope, and at 38 × 29 cm it has room for exactly these things. That’s handy if your hallway is narrow and there’s no space for a chest of drawers. It works just as well above a desk.
By the bed or on the sideboard: what you’ll need first tomorrow

Glasses, watch, phone: you put them down at night and reach for them first thing in the morning. The WAVE leather tray has no corners, and its sides rise softly. The small size, at 26 × 17 cm, fits on a bedside table, and the large one, at 35 × 23 cm, suits a sideboard. And putting your phone in it display-down for the night is a small ritual in itself.
When space is tight

The COVE leather tray is the flattest of the three, and the small size is just 18 × 18 cm. It fits on a shelf, in a wardrobe or anywhere you only need room for keys and sunglasses.
Three simple rules for the right spot
- Put it where you already walk past. The best spot is on your way to the door, not where it looks prettiest.
- One place, one job. Emptying pockets in the hallway, glasses and watch by the bed, post on the wall. That keeps each tray tidy.
- Only leave what you need tomorrow. Last week’s receipt can go.
If a tray picks up marks over the years, that’s part of real leather. You can read how to clean and care for it in our guide to leather care.
A home isn’t finished in one evening
It builds up, out of things you keep because you pick them up every day. If you only want to change one thing, start at the door. You’ll find all the new pieces under Leather Trays and Leather Wall Pockets.
